Located on Sydney’s iconic Oxford St, Foxtel On Oxford is Sydney’s newest, pop-up immersive activation venue.
The art-deco foundations of this historic venue (formerly the iconic Academy Twin Cinema) have been carefully reinvigorated with chic modern finishes to create a distinctive and unique space unlike any other in Sydney. High ceilings, sleek minimalist interiors and comfortable, stylish furnishings bring a touch of luxury to any event. Home to three distinct spaces – the Lounge, Theatre and Hub – beautifully designed, flexible spaces for events of all types and sizes.
The venue features a 260 seat cinema, a stunning central bar, coffee and basic kitchen facilities, cloak room, Wi-Fi and multi-purpose green room. The venue is equipped with state-of-the-art AV solutions including stage lighting in the Theatre and Hub, supported by our technology partner Innovative. A very special thanks to Harvey Norman, our furniture partner, who have carefully curated a stunning range comfortable and beautifully styled furniture throughout the venue.

The Lounge is the grand entrance to Foxtel On Oxford. Celebrating the original space’s art deco roots but with a modern, premium finish, this space is home to a bar, casual lounge seating and lots of free flowing space for your guests to connect, unwind or network. Perfect for celebrations, informal meetings or as a chic space to welcome guests for drinks and canapes before the main event.

Booking Information and Inclusions:
Venue hire includes use of event space and the following AV:
- 4x wireless microphones (handheld, lapel or headset)
- Audio speakers in room
- Show laptops for PowerPoint, video playback etc.
- Lighting looks in the room (cinema- 10x moving spots, 10x moving wash, and stage wash. Hub- 12x moving spot/wash lights, plus stage wash)
- Use of projectors.

For any events over 50 people where alcohol is served, security is required.
Catering, security, staff or additional AV equipment must be booked by the event organiser.
Limited street parking is available on South Dowling and other side streets nearby. Oxford St is well serviced by buses and taxis. Extended parking is available nearby at St Vincent’s hospital.
Wheelchair access can be arranged upon request.
Smoking is not permitted inside the venue.
